A self-contained Capnometer
EMMA Emergency Capnometer is designed using the latest advances in component and microprocessor technology to provide a self-contained, fully quantitative capnometer with unique versatility and design. EMMA Emergency Capnometer uses the IRMA (NDIR infrared) mainstream technology in order to precisely determine end-tidal CO2 concentrations and respiratory rate. Now weighing only 53 grams (including 2 x energizer lithium cells).
Rapid Measurement
EMMA requires no warm up time; it’s ready to measure within just a few seconds; with End-tidal C02 concentration values shown after the first breath and Respiratory rate values shown after the second breath, then updating every breath thereafter.
Disposable Airway adapters
EMMA quickly and directly connects to endotracheal tubes, laryngeal masks or facial masks via the airway adapters which are designed to make connection so simple and straightforward, there are two types; Adult (standard 6ml) and Infant (1ml for reduced dead space).
Battery operated
EMMA Emergency Capnometer is battery operated and offers eight hours of normal use with two standard AAA batteries, and for extended life and use by using 2 x Energizer lithium battery cells you can now get up to 14 hours of normal use for un-paralleled mobility and convenience.
Increased patient safety
EMMA Emergency Capnometer is a fully quantitative capnometer. The accuracy of all measurement values is according to the requirements of the ISO 21647 standard for respiratory gas monitors. EMMA Emergency Capnometer is designed to make CO2 and RR monitoring possible in all ventilation and CPR events.
Alarms
EMMA Monitor is available with both audible and visual alarms for No Breath Detected, No Adapter, Check Adapter, and adjustable high and low end-tidal CO2 alarm. A highly visible bar graph provides feedback on CO2 concentration, breathing activity or alarm situations supporting closer monitoring of patient ventilation.
