SalivaScreen saliva drug test cups were launched at the recent Drugs & Alcohol today show with huge interest coming from all testing agencies and treatment organisations. The advantages of rapid on-site Saliva testing over Urine are clear: Saliva testing is non gender specific; it is easier to perform testing and eradicates the issues of test adulteration that are prevalent with urine testing. The new SalivaScreen Cups are available in different drug combinations: Cocaine (crack cocaine), Opiates (heroin), Amphetamines, Methamphetamines, Cannabis (THC), Benzodiazepines, Methadone.

Also launched at the show was the NEW SalivaScreen Reader & Saliva test. This new portable package is aimed at the Police, Custody suites and DAAT teams. The SalivaScreen IV saliva test wands consist of 6 panel class A drug combinations, hygienically packaged and easy to use and with rapid testing. The handheld reading device stores the interpreted test result and allows the user to add text fields to support the test process. The data can be printed out at the point of test via a printer supplied and can also be downloaded later onto a computer via the pc software which also comes with the unit.
