MEDACX is pleased to announce that it will be supporting Windsurfing 4 Cancer Research. The managing director Brian Roake a keen windsurfer himself, and is a personal friend of David Tuttlebee and sails with him at Hayling. In May 2006 David was diagnosed with cancer and currently David is just about to undergo his third round of chemotherapy and radiotherapy. You can view all about the charity what it's goals are and you can read David's 'blogs' and his progress. Windsurfing 4 Cancer Research is helping to raise awareness through education and so promote early diagnosis and healthy lifestyles to reduce incidence of the disease, plus help improve the understanding of cancer and help increase survival rates by sponsoring specific research projects for the public benefit.
