Sudden cardiac arrest can affect anyone, anytime, anywhere!
Ventricular fibrillation [VF] can be the cause of sudden cardiac death in early life or even occur without warning at any time. Not enough is known about some of the scientific reasons behind it. Initial care of the patient includes cardiopulmonary resuscitation [CPR]. However, this alone will not stop ventricular fibrillation. Ventricular fibrillation can only be effectively stopped by prompt defibrillation in other words, a current controlled defibrillation impulse from an automated external defibrillator [AED].
Fast action, saves lives!
In conjunction with immediate cardiopulmonary resuscitation, there is only one way of stopping ventricular fibrillation and ensuring the patients survival: prompt defibrillation. It has been proven that a patient’s chance of survival falls by 10% - 12% per minute.

AED’s helping us to save life
Defibrillators [AED’s] are designed to be easy to use and safe and should always meet the
European Resuscitation Council [ERC] and UK Resuscitation guidelines which are required for use. Equipping the workplace and public places with fully automated external defibrillators [AED’s] and through training of staff in the use of AED’s, are proven to give anyone in sudden cardiac arrest [SCA] an increased chance of survival outcome.
HeartSave AS - Easy to use in just two steps
A patient’s chance of survival decreases with every minute. That’s why we have developed our range of defibrillators for firstaiders and rescuers in mind. Our fully automatic FAED’s provide professional defibrillation assistance without any medical training, in just TWO simple steps.
• Step 1: Remove AED Lid - automatically switches AED on
• Step 2: Apply electrode pads to chest
Simply remove FAED lid and the fully automatic HeartSave AS defibrillator device is automatically switched on and ready to take over; apply the pre-connected SavePads™ electrodes to the bare chest, the device analyses the hearts rhythm and impedance, only initiating defibrillation when ventricular fibrillation [VF] is actually verified and delivers a shock [only if needed] up to an industry leading 360 joules, without the need for anyone pressing a button. Defibrillation with HeartSave AS can be performed on adults as well as on paediatrics. HeartSave AS is ready to use, its intuitive and with clear voice and visual prompts it safely guides the first aider, rescuer through the rescue procedure.
