MEDACX is committed to reducing its carbon footprint in line with global climate goals and national sustainability initiatives. As an SME, we recognize the importance of taking responsible environmental action and integrating sustainable practices into our daily operations.

2025 sees the company commit to Carbon Net Zero. Although there is no previous emissions reduction commitment, as a company we have always strived to reduce our carbon footprint where possible since our inception in 2005.

Our first recording of emissions is 2024, our baseline year for Carbon Reduction. Our aim is to reduce our absolute Scope 1 and Scope 2 carbon emissions by 25% by 2030 from our baseline year and achieve Net Zero by 2048 or earlier.

MEDACX is fully committed to and recognises that Modern Slavery must be addressed. In May 2023 we introduced a new robust Policy QP18

Purpose:
The management of MEDACX by defining this policy will ensure that all staff are aware of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and how this could adversely affect and impact our business, staff and those of our customers and individuals associated thereto. 

Definition:
Modern slavery definition is ‘when an individual is exploited by others, for personal or commercial gain.’ Modern slavery should be understood as an overarching term encompassing all forms of contemporary slavery: human trafficking, slavery, servitude, forced and bonded labour and the worst forms of child labour. It is a grave violation of human rights that affects people almost everywhere, including in the UK.

Policy Definition:
The Policy was created by the company for all staff, its directors and senior management to ensure we proactively promote the public interest (PI) by encouraging community growth and development, and voluntarily eliminating practices that harm the public sphere.

MEDACX shall monitor and ensure active compliance with the spirit of the law, ethical standards, and international norms and to embrace responsibility for the company's actions and encourage a positive impact through its activities on the environment, consumers, employees, communities, stakeholders and all other members of the public sphere; covering Environmental Responsibility, Ethical Responsibility, Philanthropic Responsibility and Financial Responsibility.

Business Continuity Policy:

MEDACX will ensure that all activities related to the business are RISK assessed, identified, measured, eliminated, or controlled. 

The company complies with all appropriate legislative requirements, using and adhering to guidelines.
Our Business Continuity covers all scopes and aspects of everything we do from products and suppliers to our systems and technology. Ensuring where appropriate all European Standards, UK CA standards, CE/CA marks, ISO Certification requirements are maintained and fully compliant and meet Quality standards. Our facilities, our human resources and other interested parties form an equally important part of our business continuity policy.

Control and Protection of Systems, Records & Data’ have been created to ensure effective management and control using identification, storage, protection, retrieval, retention and disposition of records {GDPR}.
