Waveform Capnography - EMMA® Emergency Waveform Capnograph uses the IRMA (NDIR infrared) mainstream technology and is designed using the latest advances in component and microprocessor technology to provide a self-contained, fully quantitative capnograph with waveform display and with unique versatility and design.
EMMA Capnograph ensures rapid deployment and immediate results - EMMA requires virtually no warm up time, with full accuracy in 15 seconds to measure end-tidal carbon dioxide (EtCO2) and respiration rate (RR).
EMMA Capnograph with its intuitive waveform display provides confirmation of efficacy of endotracheal tube placement, enables clinicians to assess effectiveness of CPR allowing recognition of the return of spontaneous circulation (ROSC); the capnogram enables assessment of both depth and effectiveness of compressions. A must for EVERY emergency grab bag!
Increased patient safety: EMMA® Emergency Capnograph is a fully quantitative capnograph. The accuracy of all measurement values is according to the requirements of the ISO 21647 standard for respiratory gas monitors. EMMA Emergency Capnograph is designed to make CO2 and RR monitoring possible in all ventilation and CPR events.
Alarms: EMMA® Capnograph is available with both audible and visual alarms for No Breath Detected [Apnoea], No Adapter, Check Adapter [blocked], and adjustable high and low end-tidal CO2 alarm. A highly visible waveform capnograph provides feedback on CO2 concentration, breathing activity or alarm situations supporting closer monitoring of patient ventilation.

Disposable Airway adapters: EMMA® quickly and directly connects to endotracheal tubes, laryngeal masks or facial masks via the airway adapters which are designed to make connection so simple and straightforward, there are two types; Adult (standard 6ml) and Infant (1ml for reduced dead space).
EMMA® Emergency Capnograph is battery operated and offers ten hours of normal use with two standard AAA batteries for un-paralleled mobility and convenience.
Rugged design: EMMA® Emergency Capnograph has a rugged, shock resistant and water resistant design to provide the user with a reliable monitor for emergency situations. EMMA Emergency Capnograph is designed in accordance with the requirements of the EN 1789:2007 standard for Road Ambulances; and is RAF airworthiness approved in the UK for on aircraft compliance.
Low cost of Ownership: EMMA® does not require any routine calibration and in combination with airway adapters helps reduce operating expenses.
